At the time I thought it was a random thing to say but years later i realize it is such a green flag about how Josh views women. I, a woman, grew up reading books with main characters that were women and men and "saw myself" in all the them. But boys would often only read books with male main characters. Josh "saw himself" in Katniss and related to her and admired her ; that's so awesome.
