It’s so elegant and low profile. It doesn’t look ridiculous in terms of size when it’s sheathed and carried on the back. Too bad the purple sharpness is garbage

Great work! Still grinding to get the final upgrade of that lance on my main character! I was curious to ask, I like the look of babel spear, but I know black tempest is the best for solo g rank quests, even with a difference in raw do you think babel spear can be used effectively in this g rank quests? I was imagining that using reckless abandom and sharpness +1 would compensate the loss of raw dmg

@@MlguelPires No raw lance can beat tempest. Tempest with critical+3, S+1, SS is exceptional power. However, you can use that as a slightly weaker alternative.

@@MlguelPires Keep in mind that if your hitrate is high enough and you have access to felyne special attack, a couple of full poisons on many lower HP, G rank monsters by garuga lance would beat babel lance easily. I suggest you check the mhp2g wiki on how much poison each monster receives and its total hp per quest. I'll give you an example: HGFFA nargacuga has 3600 HP. 2 full poisons is 480 HP. This is 13.33% of its whole health gone only from poison. In comparison, Babel lance is only 6.67% stronger than garuga lance (both with dps ra3 ss s1 set). That means garuga lance easily beats it with 2 poisons. In addition, garuga lance has 10 more hits of purple sharpness, which become 20 on average, both with sharp sword. This is important. I wrote a lot, but I wanted to explain it well. Once you check the values in the wiki, it's easy to do the math and figure out what's best.

@Sarissa99 holy hell I had no idea about that math, if this is the case then in most situations garuga lance is more reliable, which is great news for me because I also love that lance and i was interested in making poison more reliable, thank you for this input, you're the best!
