Hi Darrell The Landscape photographs were beautiful. They have put a fence around Doxey Pool now so it is not the same as before. It was our favourite place for a flask of coffee in the morning. We do find taking photographs relaxing even if we don’t get a good photograph. Thanks Jon and Sandra

Darell Your video was a reminder of the pictures I have taken of the areas of the burn areas in Los Angles. Pacific Pallacades , Temescal State Park , The Santa Monica Mountains Back Bone Trail to Will Roger's State Park , Will Roger's house burned in the fire. Eaton Canyon to the top of Mt Wilson a 14 miles round trip hike with 4500 feet of elevation gain. Runyon Canyon in Hollywood with a good view of the Hollywood Sign from the top. Last year was a rainy year this year there is record low rainfall the hills are full of dead dry brush waiting for a ignition source and mixed with the high winds it is a disaster in the making it will take years for the burn areas to fully recover 😢

Hopefully the area recovers quickly. Hope you enjoyed the video.

Three shires head, first time I met you being the other photographer that turned up on your vlog from there. Been a subscriber since and learnt a lot especially on bird photography. 👍

If I am thinking of the same visit the other guy was Chris and he has now joined our camera club.

@DarrellOakdenPhotography Jonathan. We were both waiting for a swimmer to finish and dodging rain and midges.
