My favourite reads of 2022

I loved The Sentence! It just missed making my top 10 of 2022. I understand the criticism it received, but it worked for me. I also read Wintering, but I did so differently. I read it over 6 months. Chapter/Month at a time. And I journaled as I read. I’ve always struggled in the dark months of Winter (I live in Wisconsin where Winters can be harsh) and reading this in the way I did was a really positive experience for me. Great seeing you back making videos!

Ooo that’s such a good idea to do with Wintering! I’m a big fan of journalling and love using prompts so I might give that a go thanks Michele! I started reading Horatio Clare’s The Light in the Dark - A Winter Journal in January hoping it would give me the same kind of vibe but I wasn’t that invested in it the way I was with Wintering. Would really like to find something similar as I love seasonal reading.
