After dreaming of having a PRS for 15 years, a got a CE 24 and I fucking love it with all my heart, and I tested a lot of different american PRS that I didn't quite like as much. And I actually love the square pickups and now I wish I had these for all my other guitars lol. Great channel btw, keep doing that shit. I love the neurotic honesty of compulsive guitar hoarding that most of us have but didn't manage to go quite far.

I have def learned to judge a guitar by a guitar and not how people just throw shade...oh it's a Gibson so it must suck or its a bolt on so it's not as good as a neckthru...I've learned it's never that simple. my first(and first ex-)wife used to get mad at me on fridag nights. Unless I was out playing that was my night to clean and restring my guitars. She would nag at me saying "you treat your guitars better than me.."... Yup, I sure did. Thats why she became a ex wife. Tough to find a partner female or male that understands ones connection with their guitar(s)..They are like children. Perfect, beautiful, sensitive, loyal children. who would never nag you about bringing another into the collection..

GAS - I totally get this! I'm a lifelong knife nut. I have serious Blade Acquisition Syndrome. I have had to beg my wife, "PLEASE... don't ever buy me a knife! You'll NEVER get it right!" For our first Christmas, she bought me a knife; a beautiful knife. I keep it in a place of honor... in my car's glove compartment... where I'll never have to look at it... unless I need it.

I told her reasoning was if I was ok to spend 10k on a guitar I'm sure I'm ok with spending it on a ring. I gave my fiance a cheap ring because we wanna buy a house. Then my friend gave me a bunch of diamonds. She picked out 2 but the one that fit the ring was yellow. She liked it until she admitted that she just wants white sparkles. That yellow diamond is 2+ carats and flawless lol I also rue the day I reacted this way because now she legit won't buy me shit. So as much as this was funny to me at the time it was a bad decision in the long run for guitars bought by her. That said, when she gave up on my bday this last year I just had her throw down on a PRS 513. Was not very romantic 😶

A CE is the most expensive PRS I have tested. It was cool, but I can’t be a full PRS shill without a fully carved top, so DGT or 594 are probably the way to go. Tbh, no reason to try to buy you a competitive guitar. She should buy you a joke guitar like one of those Bilt or Shelton with 13 dip switches that can trip you out.

I love the 594 look but the LT pickups suck. They sound dead to me. I traded one for an 89 cu24. I prefer the higher output pickups, the DGT is rad, more of a vintage pickup but not super low output. The LT stands for "low turn." Good luck bro! Get one at the right price, I get custom 24s for 1500ish

I don't have any kiesels...my old Guitarist did and they were rad instruments. Some of the most consistently high quality instruments on the market, I've just always been a gibson/prs guy and I don't buy new so I get them at sub new Kiesel prices. That said, they're rad guitars and you're welcome to kick my ass on guitar. I'm no that good!

Paul has a very love/hate relationship w me. I love him but I'm pretty sure I annoy him. I think he's the greatest guitar pioneer of our time but I'm not entirely sure he appreciates my sense of humor. That said, when I first met him.he sat me down and had me try one of his prototype amps. He spent 25 mins with me and really cared what I said. He said I immediately "pinned" it and I said "get used to it, metalheads turn it to 11."
