Hope you can push through and things improve for you. Would love to see you show up on "The First Circuit Podcast" with Larsh, Oldbob and such. Think you'd be a great added voice to their topic discussions.

I too, have been fighting depression for many years. Knowing that this was what I was suffering from, helped immensely. I found that making lists of things that need to get done, helped. Not listening to the "voice in my head", was also something that I needed to learn to manage. Creating some kind of "daily routine", even if it's temporary, can also help to keep you active. You breaking the silence, is a big step in finding ways to manage this debilitating condition. I'm with you AG and want you to know that you're not alone.

I have the same thing going on. Im over sensitive to things that deal with the heart , lonelyness, lost family member or friend , or watching all the sad shit going on in the world. My mind is flooded with thoughts , thoughts on how people should prevent these bad things happening in the world. Its preventing me from focusing on what im doing. Ill go to sleep just because I have no interest in doing anything...and going to sleep makes the time go faster. Ive been seeing new doctors , so Im getting things dealt with after all these years. Im glad your girlfriend handles it like that instead of bashing you. Otherwise you might react like a dog with rabies and say something you would regret later. Its sometime better to let your friends know this so they dont get the wrong Impression and think your a ...nice way of saying it... "wiener"

I am having similar signs. Lack of energy - i dont want to really do anything. But thats burnout. I have not had any horrible stuff done in my life. I just worked really hard, at the same time studied on university really hard. Sometimes shit hit the fan and i did not get the results that i wanted. I stretched myself too much and i did not had the time to recharge any energy. But i went through all of it and then finally i was able to finish my university, got payrise in work, finally i was able to get some results and in general i was starting to feel more satisfied, but still without energy - thats a sign of burnout and i took 2 weeks of vacation now, so lets see what good can it do. I am planning to watch your supreme ruler guide and have some fun with the game :D But as a general rule - try to do something that brings you joy and if that does not work try something different? For me change of environment works as well - like traveling? I would be very cautious with medicine because i am more leaning towards thinking that pharmaceutical companies produce drugs to get people either "addicted" - not literally but slightly so that they can turn their profits, or to cause other health issues so that they can produce and sell other drugs. Also there is this thing called Placebo effect. In short if you think negatively sooner or later you will start having physical body issues. So cheer up! New year is comming! Happy new year and hopefully you have already overcome this.

Depression could very well be a side effect from another health condition.
