Sounds very Finnair, good seats, good entertaiment etc, not so good meals :) Finnair is a rather big European in Thailand, this winter they fly 2x daily to BKK and up to 1x daily to Phuket.

I'm flying Finnair prem.economy though it's through qantas they don;t fly Sydney Bangkok anymore. So your review of p/eco Finnair was interesting.

Yeah Finnair fly SYD-BKK/SIN for Qantas... the service concept (meals etc) is from Qanats though

I once travelled business class on Finnair from Singapore to London via Helsinki and I can assure you it wasn’t much better than premium economy; very hard seats, food served on a plastic tray with plastic wrapping and very emotionally cold staff with office style fluorescent lighting. Just awful. My trip from Australia to Singapore was with Qantas and the difference was monumental. Qantas runs rings around Finnair. The funny thing is the Qantas staff onboard knew I was travelling onwards with Finnair and questioned my “poor choice”. lol.

When did you fly, they have a very good business class seat now, Qantas is terrible now SIA is best

@ I flew in 2018. I disagree. Qantas isn’t terrible now. Their international business class seats are great, probably better than most. I took one only three months ago. Qantas food in business class is still excellent. As for Finnair right now I don’t know as I haven’t flown with them since 2018.

I was about to book a premium economy ticket for Sydney to BKK via the Qantas app. But watching this, I'll go via economy. Finnair's premium economy doesn't seem worth it.

Do not buy Premium economy from Air Canara either. Also, Air Canada flight attendants are rude. They do not act as service people but as police.

Agreed, agreed. I once paid $1600 to upgrade from Air Canada Economy to Premium and it is the worst money I have ever spent while travelling. The crew were so horribly rude, the service terrible and the seats were so hard. Never, ever again.
