SaviorPrince I’ve never had a partner do that. They usually walk right past me and die. They also usually suck bags dry carrying 6 medkits and I request for heals and they don’t drop anything. Clearly skill based matchmaking is much worse on console

I'm a little conflicted because I see a lot of people upset in the comments about how he left his teammates. I totally understand that and we all HATE when that happens and normally it's not a chill thing to do to teammates who've helped you out. But I have to put myself in a different state of mind for situations like this. A pub game like this is not played with the normal decorum for a reason. Hal isn't a normie TTV streamer mining for content, he's an actual rostered professional player who uses these games to warm up and purposefully place himself in challenging positions. It'd be like playing a pickup game of basketball with Kevin Durant. You probably aren't going to get a lot of looks at the basket if he's on your team and you are only going to appreciate that if you know who he is - otherwise he'd probably just look like a showboating ball-hog. The downside here is that most pub players don't realize they are playing alongside a 5x pro-Apex champion and are just trying to chill and suddenly they're getting toxic behavior and they don't know why. So I see both sides of this. If I was someone like him who was grinding the game almost every single day and competing at the highest level, I'd probably also unintentionally develop low regard for the pub games I played in. Not saying it's totally ok, but I understand it.
