I would love to see another video similar to this one to prep me for my show I am going to soon. I know how you feel about breeds being recognized. I show a mixed breed and it's hard to find shows that will let us in. I would love some tips if you have any for me. This AKC show will be my first as a new junior showman. (By the way you look great with or without makeup)

Oh my goodness GOOD LUCK! you and your puppy dog can do it. I've wanted a dog to show since I was little girl I really wanted a Shih Tzu or English Springer Spaniel...i Still haven't owned a dog yet im almost 28 but I'm looking more into it when I move and want a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I am getting a redbone pup. I have no clue if he is desirable to show. I live in a small area. I know there are a couple dog shows. Wondering if I should show him? My only experience with showing animals is rabbits and horses. Your video is inspiring.

You need to get a puppy from an ethical breeder who titles and health test their dogs. Not just any purebred can be a show dog.

I can spot the problem you had when gaiting the dog: A handler should always move their eyes around and focus on the dog while keeping an eye on the judge's motions.

Next time your at a dog show make sure to watch the junior handlers! Juniors are ONLY judged on handling skills, basically the best handlers are juniors. Watch them!!!
