Can you please clarify the signal chain in the video? Where is the output from Valeton cab-sim go to? Is it plug into return at FX-loop?
@DoubleDguitar Жыл бұрын
Hello, I sure can. For this video the guitar went into the tuner, compressor, phaser and then the slow gear. From the slow gear, it went to the input of the Mosky. The send of the Mosky went to the in of my DemonFX BE, then into the Mini Pre. The Mini Pre output goes to the cabinet simulator, which then plugs into the return of the Mosky. The Ouput of the Mosky goes to the Reverb pedal and then from there to the Line 6 M5. Those stereo outputs got plugged right into my interface. All direct to the computer. Hope this helps!

@@DoubleDguitar Hi, I just got my m-vave Mini-amp today. I plugged a pedal into return of fx loop(only my guitar to the input of Mini-amp pedal). The issue is that both pedal and amp cannot control the volume but my guitar can(like a master volume of chain). Is this normal or I'm missing something? ps. My amp is orange crush 35rt.

@@krisgarena6062 this is normal, you will have some control of the amp, like volume output. And the Mini output volume will be active and I generally keep it around noon-1:00 position, and use the amp volume to get your levels for your playing.

Sir i have same pedal as you, the mini preamp and mosky sol198, i have a modulation pedal that i want to connect to the send and return on the fx loop of the physical amp? Where i gonna connect this mvave pre-amp And a cabsim like tomsline shaper and my mosky sol198 since the mosky has a send and return? And Which comes first on the chain? Pre-amp, cabsim and modulation pedal or modulation, cabsim and pre-amp? And may drive and wah pedals will go thru input of the physical amp?
@DoubleDguitar2 ай бұрын
@@sirkamla hey man, that’s a lot to take in and try to form a good and helpful statement. Let me ask something so I know your final goal, if you don’t mind. Are you using a guitar amplifier with an effects loop, and you want to not use that amplifiers preamp and use the MVave pedal as the preamp?
@sirkamla2 ай бұрын
@@DoubleDguitar yes sir. You got it right.
@DoubleDguitar2 ай бұрын
@@sirkamla great! So the first thing to be aware of, is the amp will be very loud this way. You are hitting your power amplifier, and probably won’t have even control of your amp volume. The Mini pre becomes the “always on” pedal. You must start with the volume very low and slowly bring it up. I would go like this- Guitar output to wah input Wah output to Mosky input Mosky send to Mini Preamp input Pre out to your modulation unit Mod out to Mosky return (keep drives off for the moment, and make sure to start with their volumes pretty low until you get the preamp volume happy) Mosky output to Amp return. Turn on amp and keep volume on preamp low, gain about 9:00 Start turning on the reverbs and delays and mods to make sure you like their levels If you are using a guitar amp and cabinet, I wouldn’t use the iR box. The iR replaces the need for a cabinet. Unless you need it for the sound guy, then I would use it very last in the chain, so he gets your effects, but also deactivate it on the 1/4 cable output, if you are able. Hope this helps!! Watch that volume!!

@@DoubleDguitar Thanks, this helps a lot sir. I'll follow this steps. One more thing sir, i have other dist/OD pedals on my board, is it possible they can stay on the input of the physical amp? Or they can join to the chain?

This is my current set up just so u have an idea. Guitar out to wah input Wah output to metal zone input Metal zone output to mvave mini fx input Mvave mini fx output to mosky input Mosky send to mvave preamp to cabsim to mod pedals Last Mod pedal output to return of mosky Mosky output to noise gate input Noise gate output goes straight to Orange crush 35rt Amp input.

@@jomarropez5735 I haven’t found a good way to make it go away, completely. I have tried a couple of the online diagrams and have a drop down circuit in it, now. LIKE&SUBSCRIBE OK Hello, I have a question, I have a D'angélico Tamanny acoustic guitar, ok. If I buy a NUX AC 25 Acoust guitar amplifier, it doesn't have Loop fx (send and return) I want to connect it together with a cuvave cube baby pedal just for the IR effects and amplification of the AC25, Sorry, maybe I didn't understand, And I'm looking for an alternative to using the amplifier + IRs from the cuvabe cube baby??????? If you could help me I would appreciate it ok. THX.... 🎉 NICE JOB BRO!!!!
@DoubleDguitar Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks man! I appreciate it, very much. It looks like that amp has an aux in, which could take the signal from the cube baby, but you then don’t have control of the guitar sounds through the front panel. Which maybe you might want? If you are going to run just acoustic sounds, I would stick with just the amp. But if you want an alternative way to amplify the sounds from the cube baby, and want to use the NuX, that would be worth a shot. I have run a cube baby into the aux in of a couple of small practice amps for electric guitar, and it works great!
@jorgesxbass7606 Жыл бұрын
yes, it is a possibility and it could also be a NUX Staggeman pedal for acoustic guitar, this one has a send&return input and the addition of the cuve baby just to use the IRs???? and of course a PA Monitor Speaker FRFR or not. What do you suggest or can you tell me???? The values for both options are almost the same, ok.

Happy Sunday Morning. Greetings from Rio/ Portugal !!!🎉
@DoubleDguitar Жыл бұрын
@@jorgesxbass7606 well, if you have a speaker cabinet, the ir isn’t as needed, but if you are sending the signal to the amp and using a separate line to the sound guy, and adding the cube baby to it, then that would make sense. The loop on an amp is great for modulations and time based effects like verb and delay. I tend to use the loop a lot, and if the NuX has built in effects, you should be covered with just that alone. And then you can experiment with how you would use the cube baby, but I would think the effects from the NuX would be better. Using the cube baby as a tool for the sound guy is an option with a DI, and they usually have them at the gigs.
