Set collections is worse. At this point in the game if you're an offline player the most cards you can collect at this point is 150

Totally agree on the legends pool, they rely too heavily on the minor leaguers being part of the MLBA for likeness rights. Losing Ted Williams, Ty Cobb, Rogers Hornsby doesn't make too much sense. Bringing in Andruw Jones and not giving him an end game card a couple years ago was a such a waste. We had Brett Boone for what a year or two? Bringing in all star guys from the last 30 years would be a great bridge gap to not trying to overspend on true HoF legends player rights.

SDS could learn so much from the way Topps Bunt is structured. If they mirrored Bunts setup, this community would absolutely explode. Basically, Live Series should be 'Base cards' that are within actual baseball card packs of Topps sets and they should cost like 1000-5000 stubs each, with tiered insert odds. So, take the Classics series for instance. You'd pay 2000 stubs for a pack that would include 4 cards. 3 of them would be Live series (mostly junk), and 1 of them would be a Classics Series card of potentially any MLBTS rarity. So each Classics Series card would have a bronze, silver, gold, and diamond version that you could pull at varying odds like Bronze 1:1, Silver 1:5, Gold 1:20, Diamond 1:50. Each set/series should be like 20-80 players. Not 2-5. It's just so little content. Bunt is far and away the most addictive game I've ever played. If I could actually use the cards from Bunt in a video game, SDS could have all my money. I'd just tell my job to forward my pay checks to SDS. Also, semi-related - the game is just too hard for Rookie level. It's such a high barrier of entry that we lose so many community members who just never learn to hit a slider. Because even when they do perfect perfect the slider, it's a line out to the 3B. I can maybe understand it on all star on above, but on Rookie, it just creates an unenjoyable experience.

Another problem, a DD game should not be 9 innings. 2k and madden don’t go the full game length and for good reason. 30 min avg for 1 game is unreal imo for a video game

as a brand new MLB player this year, my biggest praise for them is that you actually get XP/program progress/parallel XP for playing offline game modes and just straight up practice mode too. my biggest complaint is the hacks im seeing online. Ill go band for band with someone online, then out of nowhere they'll pause the game and blast 8 homers in a row no matter where i pitch the ball. its happened multiple games in a row. sad to see.

Wait wait.... you said you want realistic hits and more variety in what happens to the ball after being hit (in a realistic way), BUT you also want to force a PERFECT PERFECT to be a base hit or positive outcome. Everybody who played baseball knows that perfectly hit balls wind up in a glove ALL THE TIME. Perfect contact does not equal a positive outcome... in the real world. It should not happen in the game either. Otherwise.... love your stuff man.

I just started playing the Show 30 days ago and its the first baseball game ive gotten into since mvp 2005. Im a hardcore mut player but havent played madden in months. I really like DD and am nms and had up to 850k stubs from just flipping unlockables and i did the Babe set. DD does feel a little mobile gamingish in a way. The packs are terrible and not nearly as fun as mut packs but i have pulled 28 diamonds in total with 2 Acunas and a 90 Yordan. It feels like the Show needs more sets kind of like how mut has team diamonds and different sets. I think they give away too many free cards in DD to be honest. Mini seasons and Conquest are awesome and leveling up cards is cool and ive had no problem making stubs. I also like the variety of lineups and players. Once you complete Babe Ruth then there arent any good sets. DD really does need to take alot from MUT but it is a fun mode that is so easy for nms. I wanted to spend money but i was like it would be a waste considering i still have 400k after doing the Babe set and season 2 is near. The live series team set reward players are terrible but i assume that once a season resets then they will be more viable for a week or so. I think DD is perfect for players who mainly play vs the CPU and sometimes online. I do think MUT is the better mode but DD could surpass it with the right moves. Packs kill me cause why pay 40 or 50k a pack when you can just biy that certain player or wait a week for his price to be cut in half. Still though just the fact that DD is so easy to be nms i have to say its a great game mode and even though i do prefer mut i do think DD may be better.

Agree with most points. Best way I can say it as a player that retired Madden due to their user experience. They have little by little tried to take the EA route to squeeze us all. I’m your age or close with a decent job, so I didn’t mind spending about $150 all in to have a more solid experience. Even that though I’m a reds fan, and that just got me Elly and a couple other small pieces. Ntm I’ve beaten everything on the game possible, and I do everything but events for multi as well. Based on my MLB22 experience. I should be a stub millionaire. Instead I have like 60k, along with Elly and Mookie as non liquid stubs. I’m also only at 700k on the program. On one hand I don’t mind the grind, but on another there’s no way I’m grinding season 2 this hard if at all, and am already getting burnt. I understand it impacts their wallet. However, the solution to everything is back in 21-22. That game was fun to play and rewarded you for playing the game. Theres no need for bots when anyone with time in can afford the live series, big pack guys, etc. I also don’t hear many with this complaint, but I actually like the hitting way better back then. Sure there was some jankyness, but I’d much rather play a game with scoring, than play these gremlins picking the rain in a ridiculous park on top of a pretty small room for error hitting system. Or… make a perfect perfect a guaranteed hit. In 21-22 I got why it wasn’t, and in general understand it’s part of ball. Yet, when the hitting mechanics are too realistic. The game experience suffers for me quite a bit.

No that would make things too OP. Imagine a P5 dibble with a change up or a sinker. It would make him hard to hit and it would make it to where other cards aren’t being used. I use cards just based on one pitch alone so I get it this is a creative idea but it would be too OP and again would make people not use as many cards as the game were to put out

I don't love this game this year, but I feel like its head and shoulders better than Madden or probably NCAA will be, by simply factoring in how much you'll spend just to keep up with the Meta, I've spent tons on Madden and at the end of the day it just isn't worth it when they change the Meta, nerf playbooks, etc. I get this game has its issues, but for the money I'll take the show all day. Plus there's always something to grind for and usually offline. Bots are still a huge problem for Madden too, their solution is just to make rewards just terrible for nearly everything.

The reason the BR are non sell is they drop everything every 4 weeks at once for ranked and BR, they put that 75 point limit to farm the program in ranked to keep its value for two weeks, ppl can farm br in 3-5 hours day 1. So they nerfed their overalls and made them non sellable, which they will in turn tell us it’s to help the economy I’m sure, but we also know they are full of shit, I used to play this game 12 months a year. I quit after a month, game is 100% garbage. First year since I was maybe 15 that I simply don’t play a single sports game, they are all trash, only thing going for Madden and 2k at this point is online franchises, which MLB won’t even address, and it’s been out of the game since 17. MLB 24 is one of the worst games I’ve personally ever played. It’s an old pos ps4 game that we were ok with being rng, no input matters, trash because it was easy to grind and it was rewarding, it’s none of those things now so it’s just an old game surrounded by Madden and CoD and 2k that were made for next gen. In closing, I blame Cbrev and Ashley. Good day.

Idk if it is just me but I f*cking hate the pitch out animation glitch like it looks like a pitch out but it ends up being a pitch in the bottom left corner of the strike zone.....just annoying not a huge issue but still annoying. Also why are there still glitches from mlb the show 22 in 24 like wtf and the fact that you can't get the good graphics unless you have the Xbox series X is also so dumb like why can't they add them to the series S they are both next gen and madden and 2k didn't have a problem so why did SDS????
