I know the type you mean. the software I used for this video won't do that. I do have on that will but not automatically. I would have to pre-make a fractal movie, and play it in the background rather than running it live... I will get there...

The pseudo psychedelic green screen is rather apropos considering you're in the Bay area. Speaking of the bay area, as a musician who LOVES San Francisco (and just outside SF in Pt. Reyes-breathtaking), you and I Bill were, unfortunately, too young to "partake" in the whole Haight-Ashbury scene of the late 60's and early '70's. I'm fortunate to at least remember that time but alas, through the eyes of a toddler. The whole Fillmore scene and the Bay area bands were on a creative jag. No two bands were alike. A close music friend (now deceased) was a member of a popular band at that time that was based in the Chicago area and was able to record at the CBS Columbia Studio in downtown SF (827 Folsom to be exact). He told me, not to sound like a cliche, but you could "feel" the magic and positive energy in the air back then. People like Carlos Santana, Boz Scaggs would be in and out laying down tracks. The studio closed in '77. The building is still there but it' been converted to rental space last time I visited there about 3-4 years ago now.

I can't remember, so I am thinking I did not know about that studio being there... but San Francisco can be a pretty magical place... and the scene back then was a crazy thing. even as a kid I was drawn to the whole hippy/counter culture thing. not that I understood the whole thing back then, but I believe it certainly left an impact on me!

I do think your perspective on AI is cool. Personally, I have more of a Luddite based position on AI and technology, being that a lot of this technology is not in the control of the many laborers of todays society. In order for these technologies to even be acknowledged, it should be in the hands of the worker. Like I don’t want to live in a primitivist world or whatever, I think advanced technology can do a lot of good, but for centuries it’s been in the hands of those who don’t do a lot of good with it.

Bill to be fair some of the greatest inventions created caused conventional harm. They profited more money but the money seems to put way the invention. Or other way around turned a good invention into a very very bad one.
