So sick! I want to do this one day but need more backcountry and avalanche experience. Great editing!
@SearchofSnowboarding2 жыл бұрын
After an avalanche class the best way to learn more is to keep getting out there. Now's the best time to get out there too
@benettinger7049 Жыл бұрын
Amazing! Any chance that you have route details? I would love to get out and do this one myself.

Hey man off topic but your the perfect guy to ask, should i get a 148 or 152 2022 Warpig, i’m 5,10 and 125 pounds that has a size 9.5. Will the sizes have a big difference, and if so what? Thanks!
@SearchofSnowboarding2 жыл бұрын
Get the 148, it's a much better size for your weight. The 151 might feel like too much board for you
@stephenclark152 жыл бұрын
nice video! I'm curious what boots are you guys using? I have been having problems with my boots for touring. I just got the 32 Jones TM2, and for the resort they work great. Unfortunately when I go touring in them I've been having serious issues iwth blisters.
@SearchofSnowboarding2 жыл бұрын
We've all always used our daily shred boots for touring. I haven't seen any specific split board boot that is any better than wearing the boot you are used to. The Jones 32 are so burly I feel like those are really meant for big mountaineering missions, and could definitely see somebody getting blisters in them.
@stephenclark152 жыл бұрын
@@SearchofSnowboarding the MTB are huge and bulky but the TM2 are basically the same size as the park/resort style boots but with Vibram outsole. They are awesome boots, but I'm going to get a pair of Intuition liners for them to hopefully avoid the blisters from friction
@SearchofSnowboarding2 жыл бұрын
Good call, Intuition makes my favorite liners

All that hiking for a 20 second ride? Is it even worth it!?

Even to get that deep in the mountains without snowboarding, 100% yes
