I did mine November 💕 Edit: had to come back here. No regrets. My hair is already five inches long. It was about two inches when I cut it, I don’t expect crazy growth. And yes I’m measuring 🙈. I’m about to have my second trim since it’s been four months now. So now I know I don’t have a problem with growth but I need help with moisture. My hair is very dry even after deep conditioning. I’m going to try the max hydration method.

This was hard to watch but inspiring. I’m losing my hair to alopecia but I see some growth coming so once they fill in I’m going to cut the rest of my long hair so that it will grow at the same length. I’m nervous but have no choice. I’ve never had short hair.

You see how nervous I was at the start but this was the best decision I’ve ever made when it comes to my hair. I have alopecia as well. Honestly you don't have to cut your hair to even it out. I've had it for years. Just let the hair grow, once the bald spots fill in you wont notice them. Good luck love.

yes same here. it really helps when you get a tapered short hair do, seems fresh and healthy. i camouflage the thinning bald spot at front of my head with curls going over. All the best with your hair. x

I cut my hair for the same reason. My hair use to be thick and full but I guess it’s because of the products I was using it became soooo thin. You’ll enjoy the journey

I’ve been super depressed, stressed, and sick that I haven’t been taking care of my hair like I should be. It’s really tangled to the point where it’ll take hours to untangle it. I need a fresh start, a new hair style and I just need to be stress free of my hair. Besides I want my curls to come back. I think it’s best for me to chop my matted hair and start new. You’re very inspiring and so beautiful. Also, my daughter’s name is Lillian (she has 2 L’s hahaha)

I never hear of red wax on passion twist. I usually put in passion twist crotch human hair or synthetic hair in my hair. I grease or oil my scalp. To keep my scalp from drying out. You're hair cut is cute.
