i was at the signing and luckily got a ticket the people surrounding the car were those who didnt have tickets so the only way they were going to see/meet alfie was if they did that. I saw the car pull up but i didnt want to run it it bc i'd loose my place in the line and i was at the front :'D

I was there and I get quite anxious in enclosed spaces and oh my god it was horrific. Just standing in a none air conditioned room worried me let alone being the one the 7,000 screaming girls are there for. He must've been terrified! I was terrified watching that, I can't even imagine what it would have been like in the car! I just don't get this type of reaction from fans. Its fucking stupid and really not safe not only could the car have hit someone or someone could have been pushed and fallen in front of it ,also think about Zoe and the fact she had mentioned many times that she suffers from panic attacks it made me feel anxious just watching it imagined feeling trapped with no way out and if you did get out people would be all over you ! I went there and after the crowds attacked the car all the security and police got kinda rough and horrible towards us standing in the crowds they pushed us constantly but tbh it was worth the wait for me, it has been years of watching his videos from the lens of a camera but its just so overwhelming when you see him move in real life in front of your eyes… gosh i sound creepy but thats literally how i and many others felt x

I totally agree with you! I an a huge fan of Alfie, and I think when some people get to meet him, they go crazy and forget things like the fact that Zoe was in that car and she has anxiety. It's truly a shame that you couldn't meet everyone but that happens more often than not for a lot of people in the spotlight. Don't feel bad for it because it was out of your control. I don't understand how your management didn't have a better estimate of how many people were going to show up. Of course thousands of people are going to be there. I don't think you should do non-ticketed, non-RSVP'd meetups anymore. You can fault the fans for acting so crazy, meanwhile I'm wondering why there are no barriers, no security guards, and so little policemen. Someone could've gotten seriously hurt. :(

amfuller1 I think it's a bit ridiculous that no one knew how it was going to be like. There have been many examples of this kind of craziness - Tanya's 2013 London meetup where she had to leave after thousands showed up is the one that pops into my head. Clearly the bookstore had to work in conjunction with Alfie's management to have this event set up, and it could've been prevented with a simple wristband system and some extra security. And don't get me wrong - I'm so glad they're postponing the tour because they desperately need to plan better!

I am so proud of how far you have one. Just look at Troye, he has now got an EP and now you have a book, and now Zoe is coming out with a book and has a documentery about her coming out in November. Its crazy to see how far you guys have come. I only started watching you about 2 years ago and you were just doing videos, meet ups and going to Vidcon. Now you are on your to do books signings. I know most of us have been this kind of "fan" or even still are for a certain musician or celebrity, but it get's to a point where you sit back in shock. Smacking a taxi and screaming at other people, who are actually humans, is just plain scary. I understand it's so exciting to meet your favourite celebrity but you can still enjoy their content or be excited to meet them without going crazy. At the end of the day, we're all human and very few of us wouldn't be a little intimidated by that.
