You really stayed calm when you had that misfire. I could actually see the deer's tail as it ran into the woods. It looked like it hesitated for a split second which made me believe it went down pretty quickly. Congratulations on your first whitetail, Kelly!

Awesome job Kelly! I got my first deer back in 2019 and my second in November of 2020 and both were 1 horned bucks lol with my first I didn’t care how big it was I just wanted my first buck and it had 2 on the top and broke off the brow tine on one side and he broke the whole other antler off about a inch up from the base. My second one I thought for sure it was a 2 antlered buck but I guess my eyes played tricks on me. He had 2 on the top and his brow tine on one side and then broke the other off completely to the head. I even shot at it twice (missed the first time and dropped him the second) I honestly was a bit disappointed but I brought meat in for our family! Congrats girl and hope your streak of getting bucks keeps going!❤️
