Hey man, I wanna wrap my rsx but I have black paint over the original red paint, how would I said that?

sorry for he late response, but the best way to do it, that wont kill your arm sanding so much, would be to use some type of paint remover/stripper compound, it will make it better for you to get through layers of paint like you hav e....out side of that, buying a light sander from like harbour frieght will help alot too, and just continue to sand down to the metal, especially if you are wrapping your car....hope this helped bro #staydriven

@@StayDrivenMedia only thing is the car is red but pained over the red with black, how can I sand it to where i get to the red first or just go to the metal? Also anyway you can link me what to get ? Just never sanded a car before lol and I’m lost

​@@KtuluLeaderRise Ahhh ok i see what you're trying to do, bro that will require a huge amount of both patience and skill, to be able to sand down through the black to land of the red, is extremely difficult, you will be there for days just trying to precisely stop on the inside red paint all over the car, your best bet is just full sending to the bare metal through both the paint layers and wrapping it from the bare metal, kinda like how i did, i had the BEST results that way, and my black wrap that i put on both the roof and trunk that was severely sun damaged is still PERFECT, it looks like OEM black paint, i love it....i truely hope that helped, also know that im a risk taker, im no professional, i got into these projects already feeling like im going to mess something up, but also know im going to commit to fixing my errors as well.
