A few things I’ve noticed in ‘24: baserunners are dumb as bricks tagging from 2nd to 3rd on shallow fly balls and trying to leg out doubles or go 1st to 3rd on routine base hits. Also, I don’t think I’ve seen a pitcher throw over to check on a runner ONCE when you’re at bat with men on base. Finally, SOOO many day games - I’ve never seen entire series of days games in The Show before like I have in this year’s game.

You gotta just add 6 or 7 feet to your guesses, always off by that lol. Also, old school HR derbies are better, mostly because you dont even see the ball fly or land now they just sprint it out. I hate that. The show does a hybrid where they wait for it to land. (I think it was also like this in mlb for awhile?)

So I like the “10 out” format better… I don’t “hate” the timed one.. but I do think they should pause the timer from crack of bat to ball landing… that way you don’t lose 2-5 seconds watching the ball.. HR Derby’s are meant to be fun and exciting and fans want to see 800 ft hr’s (I know unrealistic but you get the gist)… so having the players “strategize” takes that away from us.. there was something majestic about watching McGwire and Sosa in Boston… and the 3 times Griffey won… Hamilton at “new” Yankee Stadium.. just great stuff!

I would invert the colors on the glove to make it look closer to authentic leather while also keeping it Tigers team colors (i.e. switch the black parts to orange and switch the orange parts to black).

So in order to rob the home run you have to wait for the ball icon, under the up arrows, to narrow in for you to rob it. Since your ball icon is a little small it's hard to see but if you slow down your vids you lowkey see it.
