As the person who has beaten more top towers than anyone, i do agree some of the staff's decisions can be questionable, but I feel like a lot of exceptions are made in specific unforeseen situations, which i do appreciate. And also, the whole "is tocl cata" argument reminds me so much of the "is tovh horri" argument, and I do find tovh horri, so I understand if people think tocl is cata, even though I personally don't think it is

Insane freaking run man the hour went by so fast, the 8-10 run in the middle had me on the edge of my seat and then the final floor 10 near the end legit had my hands sweating for you even though I knew you were going to do it haha. Amazing editing Logan and despite this being old congrats on the completion. BTW, Thanks for mentioning TTL list without idolizing it but at least showing it exists, I had 0 clue about the whole nerfed thing and it being banned so thanks for the info lol.

as someone who was an avid fan of your push to terrifying, and you ending your series 2 months ago, it shocks me how fast you improved. Not only did you beat 2 other towers in the high - peak terrifying range, you also beat a cata. all in a month. and edited ~1 hour videos of each. while in college. i don't even know what to say. huh??

I also did this as my first cata and lets just say I didn't get 12 floor 10 fails in 3 days. Btw the last jump isn't a buffed 4 stud stickout, one side is a 3.9/3.8 and the other side is a 4.1/4.2 because the platforms aren't exactly aligned. So it isn't buffed but just messes with your muscle memory of 4 stud stickouts.

@@improbablyfur By All-Jumping ToUA and ToCL I think ToUA is easier imo, but could be because ToCL is a short but harder in gameplay tower like ToZA. But the point that also makes it harder than something like ToUA is, that ToUA can be progressed but ToCL has no progress if you fall so there's nothing that can teleport you to a specific floor so ye ToCL is harder.

24:59 that is not rng when you hold jump and w and a/d to move on a truss you go in to the truss and when you go down it makes you fall to prevent it you have to do a mini flick so that you wont be too much into the truss and after doing it you wont fall

As me being someone that’s done all kinds of terris and 5 catas (including this), i still view this as a cata. Never once did I ever think of this being a terri. Baseline cata? yes, definitely, but I feel that it’s quite a stretch to call this mid-high terri when looking at things like toar in which this definitely has harder gameplay all spread throughout. Sure, once you get to, say, 4, you basically get a 10 outside run assuming you don’t screw up, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s cata. The whole thing with atos adding this to their game and nerfing it is a whole different situation, in which, i’d view it as a mid-high terri, but it’s unnerfed state definitely stays at baseline cata for me. 🐈

i’m so puzzled. i hate undermining catas/terris difficulty but idk this tower was a weird experience.. i struggled alot to get to 4-5 consistently at first but then i reached f4-5 like every 3 minutes while randomly having a 10 minute skill drop where i get stuck on some of those super weird f2 jumps which really demotivated me. then when i finally did get super consistent i reached outside like every 30 mins failing 16 freaking times spending 36 HOURS (excluding practice) on it which was alot less than expected for a cata tower bc i spent 50 hours on totda snd on toua where i haven’t even reached 7 outside but am super consistent at. i believe i am just very good at it’s type of gameplay but still, OBJECTively it is cata soo i’m counting it.

Huge GGs, you deserve it, and even if you aren’t proud, it’s still a great achievement. I think this is harder than baseline cata. Those skips and wallhop skips definitely makes things easier because ToCL is ass. that jump at 51:00 ain’t right, trusses don’t behave like that, and that truss flatside on 10 outside really sucked. Horrific truss flick transition is also garbage too. I wonder if this tower is different now and got some nerfs ever since you beat it. congrats once again

I'm grinding this as my 2nd cata tower (I beat ToGF) but I don't have r7 in atos unlocked, so I played the tower legit in atos practice and on day 2 I got to 10 outside lol, uhh yeah pretty fun tower ig (and this is a very good video) Oh and gl on ToVS (you'll need it) Edit: GG I beat ToCL (without the skips too) on 2/12/24
