Omg I had a question that I just couldn't remember in time to add to the community post 😭 that question was what are your opinion on B teams in today's F1? Over half of the grid are B teams (Toro Rosso, Haas, Sauber, Force India, and McLaren and Williams are essentially B teams at this point also) and I hate how the top 3 plus Renault have or could have orders on the teams that have their engine get out the way or other sneaky tactics (correct me if I'm wrong). I think back then having B teams here and there on a grid of 26 would be ok but on a grid of 20 with 6 B teams? That's worrying. I would like to see a grid where way more than just 3 soon to be 4 possibly teams fight for a win let alone a championship but that would mean for more teams, engine suppliers, etc. and that all boils down to money.

They should have one official B team and no more. Ferrari has two in Haas and Sauber and the fia should work on the whole “B team rolling road block” thing.

Aidan Millward Exactly it damages the sport's image and implies that "no one can fight unless you make your own engine or a manufacturer only gives you engines" proving what Ron Dennis said about competing in this era of F1. I'm surprised no one talks about this

These predictions didn't age well lol. To be fair, Ferrari's power unit drama threw a spanner in the whole thing. That and 2020 just being insane. Gonna have to wait till 2022 I think before we see some major mix ups.

I'll tell you whats wrong with F1!!, It was given to the the bloody Advertisers, What do I mean, Well the power in F1 is held by the big manufacturers, they dictate the direction of the sport. Why do we have these weedy engines now, Renault and Mercedes insisted on them, there the guys that spend silly money causing a Haves and Have not's schism . My argument is there not proper teams, Mclaren is a real team, Mercedes is advertising it's cars , there only there as long as the number of road cars they sell off the back of F1 make it worthwhile. I'm sure they would say they are a proper team and I'm sure if you asked Honda, Toyota, BMW and Renault a month before they quit if they were proper teams they'd say " Yes!" too, In Renault's case you'd have to ask them several times. All these teams disappeared quicker than a cat with it's arse on fire when the numbers didn't add up. Williams and McLaren would still be racing no matter what, Racing is their business. Would F1 be better without the Manufacturers?, Dunno! but I bet we'd be watching a lot more cars all with flame spewing V10's and it'd be just as fast.
