1) you can store your luggage under your bed (they slide right under) 2) ask your room steward to remove the mini bar from your fridge so you can use it, as yes those items are chargeable 3) the elevators are smart technology...press the floor you are going to for the number of people in your party (example deck 16 for 2 people, press 16 twice. They really aren't that difficult to figure out. 4) if you want a more private balcony, instead of Bella pay for Fantastica experience and pick your balcony.

Love how you break down the facts about the ship and activities. My friend told me to follow you.

Hi, Happy Holidays to you and your family! ❤….As far as the specialty restaurants when you pay is it for the entire cruise or just for the day. Eg, we purchase 4 restaurants, is it only 4 times or throughout the cruise and only those 4 restaurants? I pray this is understood..lol We are a party of 6 can get very pricey. Thanks in advance!

That payment is just for the day, unless you booked multiple reservations for the same restaurant. So if you booked one meal at four different restaurants, you dine at each only once. Specialty restaurants charge PER PERSON, not per party so yes, it definitely can get pricey. Check with each restaurant individually because some will offer a discount for a lunch reservation instead of a dinner reservation. We did that for Chops Grille on Royal Caribbean. Hope this helps. Happy Holidays to you and yours as well and thank you for watching!❤️

Just curious what cruise lines you have been on where washy washy was mandatory? Can’t say I’ve ever been on one. Also if you hate the elevator system you better get used to it because all the newest ships even on different lines have the same system.

It was Royal Caribbean specifically. The last RC cruise I’ve been on was in March 2024 on Adventure of the Seas. They had about six crew members spread out at the entrance directing each person to a hand wash station, all while upbeat music played overhead. No one entered unless you washed your hands. It’s been almost a year so it’s very possible they’ve changed policies but that’s what happened on my last two Royal Caribbean cruises, in 2020 and 2024.

@mo_goes 2 cruises on Royal this last year including their newest ship Utopia of the seas and hand washing was not mandatory. Also Utopia of the Seas has the new elevator system. The problem with the elevator system is people don't know how to use it. Hitting the button once for multiple people causes the elevators to be over capacity which causes a back log.

Ahh, good to know, so I would guess the newer ships have relaxed the hand washing mandates. That may trickle down to the older ships if it hasn’t already. I don’t recall seeing those specific instructions posted anywhere for the destination elevators but no guests on our cruise seemed to know this. Also, good to know!

Hi is deck 9 balcony view nice, is it too close to the ocean
@mo_goes25 күн бұрын
It depends on what you want. Deck 9 was too close to the Deck 8 promenade for me - too much noise from people hanging out. Deck 9 is not close to the water at all.

OK, thank you, I'll mention location when booking😊
