Today I'd like to share what I've been up to lately. Making a map for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive! =D If you own CSGO and would like to try my map out please check out my workshop,

i like it, as a mapper since cs 1.5 i can tell you just one point to work on it.. its the Light! but i think you will do better info_env working with lighters or sun..

İt's not an ugly map like what you've been telling us, it's pretty cute but you've gotta add more detail on the walls, some trees, grasses, or anything that would make your map more realistic.

I am doing my own map and i just wonder how do i make rounder forms? i only know how to make kinda corners so there no round places and it looks pretty ugly

go to the block tool and there you can choose from many different forms e.g. cylinder

There's a private server for 10 mans that has it on their rotation. I'm not sure of any public ones at the moment. =S

It is very normal for people first getting in to map making to choose a very grey and industrial theme for their maps. (Not saying that it is bad tho. Just a little flat and bland) I get a very "Cachey" feeling from it.

I am really impressed with what I see. I really liked this map. The lighting does need some work, and I would really like to see a ninja spot on one of the bombsites, e.x. Dark on Inferno's B site.

for some reason, i like the gray style in the map. somehow it fits in a map like this. but you should make it a little bit darker or.. you know.. its maybe a lil bit too bright.. but i can say: that map could me my favourite one :) good work buddy!

Looks like a very well balanced map :D well done. Only thing is that the map looks a bit dull, with all the grey, but layout is great. Keep it up!

i know this was agea go, but the mid and B site are super close, almost like CT's could have 2 A, 3B and still have mid control by having the site and mid so close to each other

the first bombsite is very nice from the t side but when you reach the actual site it feels uninspired and a bit bland (also alot like nuke). the mid is quite good but the other site feels quite boring. also the maps look and name doesn't feel right... however it is a very good first map.

Nice map see quite a bit of inspiration from Nuke. Needs some graphical improvement but is your first map after all. The blue box on the top seems to be unrealistically tipping over the edge of the bottom one. When moving in to A side, lets say for a retake, through main the left side of the nuclear containers is visible. This should be not visible maybe by using a crate and instead make the right side visible through main. This way the right side from main is visible only from one entrance and the left side from main is visible only from another entrance. They are some improvements I am saying without playing the map however I believe this will make your map a bit more dynamic as choosing which place to retake from may make or break a round causing this map to be very interesting.

Looks good so far man :) I'm also trying to map. I find it very difficult though. I have much to learn. Do you have any advice for me? Like a link for beginners? I've find some tutorials, but I need something that covers alot of stuff so I can have a fully functional competative map :)

Mibbit Lip use hammer editor, its in steam click on library and then select tools (not games) install the csgo sdk i would recommend 3kliksphillip, weasel level design and D4KiR92 for tips ive only just started myself like 5 mins ago on my break at work :')
