Another super vlog Jo and such a shame you had a no show from the red squirrels. They have been a bucket lister for me for a long time now and hope to make it one day to Brownsea Island in Dorset to capture them sometime soon. Looking forward to your next vlog.

Come to germany for red squirrels, in many areas youll see them every day in the right season

I think the Pine Marten photos would have been worth the trip in themselves. Good job! Cheers.

Yeah, it's a shame about the squirrels but still an amazing experience. I am based in Wales and have been told Anglesey is a good spot for some reds, so I am going to be heading up there at some point 😊 Eskrigg sounds amazing and if I am up that way again I will defiantly be visiting!

Nice...nature photography is always a mixed bag, nothing is guaranteed 😊..I prefer wandering around and see what I see...use hides for a bit of a sit,seen plenty of red squirrel doing that....but I guess to see a pine Martin you need to be well hidden...I've never seen 1

Wow! You look like you are absolutely freezing to death @ 1:58. Hide photography is possibly my favourite type of photography. I love getting close and personal with subjects but it can be a test of one's stamina in the colder months. Feet turn to lead and with no movement for hours on end body temperatures drop. Pocket hand warmers are a great idea, gloves are a must, thermals and layers of wool clothing. Waterproof foot wear with multiple layers of wool socks and woolen head wear. I would also include something to sit on that can be carried with you into the hide. A cold wooden bench draws out the body heat and makes you uncomfortable. I have the base of an old office chair that I can carry around with me. It also works in hot dry temperatures. Good luck with your channel. 👍

Haha yes it was a tad chilly! We did have a gas heater though, which saved us from the worst of it, though that was only on for the evening stint.

As soon as I saw the dog shut in the boot of your car I turned it off
@JoHeard9 ай бұрын
If you actually watched the video, rather than head to the comments like the keyboard warrior you are, you would have seen that the dog was not in the boot when I closed it, nor did she come with me.
