Kerala used to be a major trade hub for more than 2000 years...the Arabs ,Egyptians, Romans and Chinese and more used to trade here...Muziris was a major trade center and it is also mentioned in the bible..and other ancient texts...it is also home to the oldest martial art..called kalaripayattu..which influnced and gave rise to other new martial arts in the east like kungfu , karate etc ...i would like to advice you to travel to other parts of kerala next time..if possible

They have pani puri all through India and Pakistan. It comes with different fillings and in different sizes. Puri is like a deep fried chapati but a bit smaller and it's light and crispy. It can have meat or vege fillings along with the sauces and chutneys they put inside. Plain puri is eaten with curry and dahl and other dishes. Its so yummy!
