Ohhh that's amazing! Will you guys go to the parks in Tokyo? I've always wanted to visit them so I'll be on the lookout for your videos :) My favorite tip is to leave plenty of time to just absorb the daily life and immerse yourself in the culture. Japan is very different from what we are used to in Europe and the US and there's a lot of small daily life things that are just fun to experience! A few of my favorite small memories in Tokyo: - People watching (especially in the morning, you can see that in the video) - The food! Just follow places where there's a line of local people and you're guaranteed to have a great experience - the nightlife : if you can try to meet a local and let them take you to their favorite Izakaya (japanese pub), it is VERY fun! Also people love talking to each other so you always have fun encounters :) Other favorite nightlife experiences : going to the batting cages in the middle of Tokyo, and BBQ/ karaoke in Osaka! A few of my favorite things to do in Japan: - Try the Onsen (the baths, you might have one in your hotel too) - Eat the ekiben (bento boxes that you can buy in train stations) - Eat sushi and shabu shabu

The inexpensive sushi place reminds me of the cafeterias here in The States with a twist. There the food comes to you. But it looked so fun. I do miss going to Piccadilly and Morrisons cafeterias. I used to go with my family and always enjoyed picking out what I wanted. But my eyes were sometimes bigger than my stomach. Lol. Hope the rest of your trip is as fun as that day was.

I stayed at the Hillary Hotel in Akasaka. It's small, but the design is very Japanese, which is nice. I think I chose a good hotel.

日本人ですこんにちは、お願いですから日本でお寿司を食べるなら回転寿司はやめて下さい。 日本で回転寿司は確かに安いですが美味しくありません。 安くて職人が握っている「すしざんまい」というお寿司屋さんをお勧めします。 少し高いですがそれでも良心的な価格で回転寿司よりも更に美味しいお寿司が食べられます。 回転寿司なんてアメリカでも食べれますよね。
