Bite->100% turning into a zombie Laceration -> 25% turning into a zombie Scratch -> 7% turning into a zombie Unless you die by drinking bleach, you ALWAYS turn into a zombie when you die, you were fine the first run and getting sick could either be cause you had wet clothes, your character got paranoid, or corpse sickness.

I’d really like to see you play this Jabo but chat trolls you so hard lmao. The reason you got queasy in that house was cause there were dead bodies in there with you. You aren’t infected unless the wound says infected. You can wash dirty bandages in a water source and then if you have a pot of water you can boil it and sterilize clean rags in the hot water, it speeds up recovery and reduces infection. Keep going!

Nah man he was infected, he turned when he died and that only happens when you're infected. Also if the wound says infected it just means it's got an infection not the zombie infection necessarily 👌

@@luissolorzano9299 yeah I posted the comment before he had died and turned into a zombie lol. I usually play with the zombie infections turned off cause I think they are bullshit personally. The only time I had ever gotten queasy while playing personally was having a bunch of zombie corpses in my house after they broke in.

@@luissolorzano9299 from my experience playing this game you can turn into a zombie from any death. you dont have to be infected to zombify after death. for example: you can start up a new save, find bleach and die as fast as possible. youll notice that you zombify. i dont know if it's gauranteed but you definitely dont need to be bitten

Jabo just needs to spend 30 minutes playing with someone who knows how to play who explains the bare basics and he'll be fine. But yeah, he was probably fine when he thought he was dead first time. He was suffering nausea from corpse sickness due to the dead body he left in the house.

In my opinion underweight is better to start than overweight because it’s very easy to fatten up on junk food from gas stations

Its also a LOT easier to level strength then fitness (the two stats you lose a point in for either trait).

High thirst can be annoying because you will need to carry more on you which uses up carry weight. Thin Skinned and Slow Healer are both totally fine if its just you vs zombies and no PvP.

If your Zomboid character isn’t too hot you’re not playing correctly. Keep that bullet proof vest on at all times. A little sweat is nothing compared to a zombie bite.

Not just that, but every other exterior clothing piece that has bite/scratch protection. Denim pants/leather jackets, helmets, and military boots are good when starting out. With a sowing needle and thread you can add padding to your undergarments as well. He probably would've survived most of his deaths if he had armour on.
