Really fun system. The campaign in the box set is 10 adventures which can be done in any order and 1 which is the grand finale. It's loads of fun and I have not had a dull combat yet. Travel, supplies, light all are important again like they were in the old days. Magic and item creation are cool and so is training in addition to level up rolls. It's one of those games which are gorgeously produced as well as one able to get out of the way and let the good times roll.

Thanks for the reviewcap. It is an awesome, deadly fun system! Been running it a while, and I really love how it gets back that old school feel!! 👍🤓🎲🛡🗡

My players have been really getting into planning, discussing who to back in the campaign and what the motivations may be. Travel and combats have been tense and scary. Stacking conditions can really get brutal. It's amazingly fun to have challenges in game. Monsters (as in things with their own charts) are feared and goblin mobs of 10-12 are a terror. Has it been like this for your group?

Great stuff! It would be nice to see some more of your Dragonbane re-caps. By the way, I recently asked if the hardbound book was stitched--and therefore more durable (thank you for that answer). I was surprised to find the softcover books in the box are also stitched. We shall be starting the campaign in the next week or two.

I have run a couple of short adventures. Its perfect for beginners, my daughter age 7 enjoyed it. While my son age 12, understood the whole system.

It is super easy to teach. It may be what I use going forward to get beginners into RPG'S.
