Don't those ear hairs serve a purpose? Kind of like your nose hairs?

Yes, they keep dirt and debris in the air from getting into your ear and possibly infecting the eardrum.

2:00 I tried a sample of that while I was there. It was really good. One of friends said she didn't like mocha though. I guess the texture is unique and some may not go for it. Electric nose hair trimmers can also be used for ears.

The cilia in your ears are actually really important! They're part of the immune system. I'm not sure about the wax though...
@Momosomo7 жыл бұрын
Ear wax provides protection from bacteria, and insects that might walk into your ear lol. For the most part it's there for your protection and your body removes excess wax naturally

Please don't do this too often. The ears normally clean themselves and your ears looked perfecly fine before cleaning. (Believe me, I'm looking inside ears every day and man i've seen some shit.. :D) We have special "Ear-Doctors" in my country and they even recommend not to use anything for cleaning except of what you can reach with your finger and a towel. Ear wax is there to transport dirt out of your ear and if you remove it too often your skin can get too dry and it can cause inflammation or bacteria and fungus can settle in. Ear cleaning is more for people who really have problems with that like too much ear wax production or really thick hair inside. Also it is pretty dangerous if you clean your ears at home by yourself. Q-tips are not for ear cleaning. You can even read it on the packages sold here. Oh and also the smell of the ear wax keeps insects from getting inside your ear, this is also important.

Unless you have a condition that causes a build up of too much wax in your ear, (which is rare) you should not be "cleaning out" the wax in your ears or the hair. Using cotton tips, can either damage your eardrum directly or cause compaction of wax on the ear drum (which will affect your hearing), as well as irritate the skin in the ear causing inflammation/swelling. Removing all the wax leaves you open and at much higher risk of ear infections as well as just getting more dangerous debris in the ear because the wax itself helps prevent debris and especially water getting down the ear canal. However if you mess with it, you can cause it to trap water etc down the canal instead. Basically, removing the wax may improve hearing temporarily, but complications of doing so regularly can cause major problems with your ears and increase hearing loss. If you are going to do it, once every 2 years (by a professional) would be plenty and even excessive for the majority of people.

Ear hair is very important,It keeps your ears safe from bugs crawling in also I hear its part of our balance. Ear hair kees fungi and water out. But very interesting. I would research before doing that. Dr Oz has great explanations for the hair in our ears and nose. Thanks for sharing.

I sure hope this place is still in business. If I ever find myself in Japan someday, I would love to visit this place. Especially considering that my ear canals are always itching. My guess is it's either wax buildup (even though I regularly clean them) or the ear hair has grown too long. Maybe if I get them cleaned and the hairs trimmed by a professional, I might get some relief there.

@banana59137 жыл бұрын
lauren kennedy airbnbs are owned by normal people, sometimes a company. Usually they are someone's home that the rent out for people to stay in. Hotels can be extremely expensive, usually airbnbs are pretty cheap in comparison. TLDR-usually homes people rent out
