Scott, what an excellent and exciting video! Thank you so much for sharing. Some amazing finds at Garden of the Gods. I am new to the area and look forward to joining DFO and going on some field trips in the future, these look like so much fun!

Great images man, but 400mm for birding is holding you back A LOT. Think about getting a longer lens, 600mm or even a 800mm.

Oh, I have a 600mm lens. I don't bring it out on these group outings because we are constantly on the move and it's just a little too cumbersome to lug around. I have the 200-600mm Sony lens and it's great and what I do use 95% of the time.

Slow down when your panning the camera. Not so good video when pan fast.

Yeah for sure! Unfortunately when I'm in these group outings, we move around so fast that I don't have time to get a tripod setup and then put away at each stop. This was all handheld video. But I always try to tripod when I'm on my own.
