Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. We have around 2400 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, and oats as well as around 750 head of cattle. We have a wide range of International equipment from small tractors from the 1970s to newer large farm tractors!

I watch all of your Hunting videos when you guys put on your drives in Iowa Jackson County. I’m watching your videos now on KZbin of you guys harvesting your crops and what a life is for farming in Iowa. Tell your dad and all of the guys you hunt with and that farm thank you for your service without you farmers this country would be in turmoil. I hope you do a story on some of the biggest bucks y’all kill in that part of Iowa. Where are the biggest bucks taken in Iowa is it northern or southern Iowa Easton, Iowa or Western Iowa. Or is it the counties around Jackson. And you were saying in your last one that y’all didn’t have permission to hunt a farm next to youI feel bad for that happening to you guys. But thank you for always sharing your videos.

It’s part of the corn cob that gets mixed in with the corn.

I believe it is the little fiber that is between each kernel of corn while on the cob. After chopped it frees up due to the kernels being separated.
