Awesome content, new subscriber. This is the second video of yours I watched and I like the time you take to explain the small stuff, even how to cross the wake. I enjoy going fast (snowmobiles) and I'm also a big boater up here in WI. Been looking for a "faster" boat to restore. I'll be checking out more of your vids and looking forward to following along with your projects. Cheers! Congrats on the baby too!

Looks like you might need to get a higher pitched prop especially if you're going to use it for drag racing

Great job Hunter! I don't know enough on the Mercs to do my own, unlike a BB Mopar BUT it sure looks satisfying to know you nailed it! P.S.- tell me, where can I find the calendar for the FL boat rally events? I always seem to see the "after" pics and videos but never know who or where to find the dates beforehand!

@@weekendsonthewater Nice... I'm a 5th generation Fort Myers native, but my mom lived in Alva during much of my childhood... Spent plenty of time on that part of the river. Still living in SWFL at the momentt, but I'm trying to find a place to buy up further north... Too many damn ppl down here now, and sadly it's changed alot.. Hoping to get something along the suwannee or in the panhandle...

Steel sleeve 2.5 ? Or 2.4? It's not a nikasil block.. There's a reason I asked, so when we did Promax or Bridgeports we ran 18686 heads, safe but added more hp
