The butter dish is upside down. The flat bit goes at the bottom as a ‘tray’ for the butter and the square bit as a ‘dome’ over the butter. 👍🏻😍 the small flat “top” that you said you like, is actually the bottom! The word BUTTER is written on the actual top!

Those ramekins that your received are oven-proof. Great for creme brûlée and individual mac'n'cheese casseroles. Love what you have chosen. Those velvet jungle themed cushions are so luscious! IMHO, you can never have too many bowls. I, too, am undecided about the gold hooks. Maybe in he bathroom rather than the bedroom??

Been married five years now and can confidently tell you: and extra blanket under the sheets is a lifesaver. He gets to have fewer sheets, letting him be more comfortable, plus you can pull it around your shoulders to stop the gusts when he rolls over!

Palm trees and retro vibes remind me of the decor in the Beverly Hills hotel, I was pretty young when I went so it might have changed, but I can't imagine they would depart from the trademark look. Hmm i hope it hasn't changed. It's old Hollywood. The Hotel Be! air is gorgeous too.

Hi Freddy! I love the theme you have going on in the kitchen! Just a word of caution with metal utensils: please be careful with them in nonstick pans. It can scratch the layer and make it come loose which is not good for you when it ends up in your food. Silicone or wood are safe in nonstick pans and wood can also fit in nicely to your aesthetic :)

The little white containers your grandma gave you are called ramequins, you can make desserts or bake things into them in the oven :) It's interesting to me that you say you don't know how to cook, maybe that could be an interesting challenge for you to take on! My best recommendation is to buy a cookbook that has simple recipes and to commit to trying one out each week. I am sure you will get great over time ! It can be really fun to cook as a couple too for you and JJ.

My granny also gave me those little dip bowls and i think they are actually called soufflé dishes... but i use them for everything and its so special having something in my kitchen thats older than me that i get to pass on to my kids and grandkids one day.

Ramekins are great for making little savoury/sweet dishes in the oven! When I was staying with my host family in France we used them heaps for things like tomato sauce with parmesan, zucchini with parmesan, or escargot with garlic butter!

The Joy of Cooking is an old school pretty solid cookbook. I forgot where I found the recipe but I make creme brulee in ramkins, pretty traditional, easy, and tastes heavenly. I think the recipe was in a creme brulee dedicated small book. Hmm. Eggs, Cream, sugar, vanilla and caramel sugar on top with a kitchen torch. I think Williams Sonoma is a great kitchen place.

I say keep the hooks they can be placed as a pair or separated. They can be used in the bedroom, in the bathroom (for robes), or near an entry way (for keys, an umbrella, or handbag).

I always buy more than what can be seated at my tables to allow for matching as well as the inevitable breakage... because sadly, breakage happens. I imagine everything sparkling and matching to fit in with your more glamorous aesthetic, but there is also a certain charm for a mis-matched, higgledy-piggledy tablescape as well. Having lots of beautiful options is always a girl’s best friend! 😍❤️🥰 These vlogs are fantastic and all of your hard work is paying off beautifully! Bravo to you and all your loving helpers! Hi Freddy! This haul has been long awaited, I’m obsessed with interior decor and transforming spaces. Everything looks fabulous! Best tip: splurge on glass or metal canisters/containers/organization for food and kitchenwares with labels! I think I mentioned this in your flat tour video, Caraway Home has a cookware set in the exact cream of all your crockery. It’s pricey, but doesn’t have toxic chemicals or substances. Also, try traditional Russian fluted glasses, I think they’ll compliment all your bowls and serve ware. ❤️ Love from LA! This is so cute. Trust me, you're going to need all those bowls. The worst is when you've prepared something lovely but have to serve it in tupperware. Imagine it's taco night, you have the guacamole in one bowl, the shredded lettuce in another etc. They'll come in handy!

You should try antique/thrift shopping, it's basically like homesense in that you never know what's in store but you can often find original pieces from the time periods. Especially kitchenware, I have bought the most beautiful set of real crystal champagne flutes for 6€ :) Also those glass containers can even go in the freezer or you can bake in them, very convenient if you are already planning on cooking for a few days, no extra dishes :)
