*I read that at the Venitian, the waitress has to buy the drinks and then bring them to you. If they don't receive a tip, it's a loss for them. I think the service would get better if you tip.*

We normally do tip $5, especially if we are playing in the high limit. If I grab a bottle of water off of a tray then I tip $1-$2. If I’m on the regular floor, then $3-$5 depending on what I order.

Their comps have really nose dived since Eldorado bought them. At least for us they did. MGM gives u much better comps at the moment.

I only tip a couple of bucks per drink. If they serve 50 drinks in an 8 hrs shift that's a $100 + whatever regular wage they get. In my opinion skilled workers get skilled workers pay and servers don't. You gotta figure they're making probably $15-20 an hour plus a extra $100 in tips that's $280 a shift to serve drinks. That's a LOT !!!
