I grew up in the Mormon church and served an 18-month mission for it about 6 years ago. It severely traumatized me, and I am recovering after 5+ years still. I have since left the church and am aligned with my true self more. I feel your pain as a fellow survivor. I LOVE your third poem and appreciate you beautifully articulating something so real and painful. You are magnetic and influential. I am so glad I found your channel! Thank you for being you ❤

You really really inspire me, to write, to live, to be, to breathe, to see whatever I can see. And to reflect. You show me that courage is within all of us and that I can have it too. I've been really really sad recently. It seems all I can do cry. My past is painful and I almost refuse to say what I need to say and it's weighing on me. Thank you for existing and being that light at the end of my tunnel. The faith that you exude, about life and your dreams, is the only thing that reminds me that I can follow mine sometimes.

You are a safe place for teenage girls, especially ones like myself who felt like they didn’t fit in, just floated over everyone else, or observed. I’ve written poetry since forever this’d inspired me very much! Like Priscilla Presley, Stevie nicks, lana, Marilyn, Sylvia Plath, i can tell you are just one of those women with a presence that deserves to be universally remembered. Like a ghost of girlhood. 'I hope I get into heaven' was the perfect poem to end with. You are a natural and soo good with words.
