My First Ever Solo Trip | Budapest | Hungary

I WENT ON MY FIRST EVER SOLO TRIP!!!
Yes, you read that right. I took off late last month on my first ever solo trip. I have visited places solo before but it was always for some purpose or work. Never for a vacation. I had applied for my Schengen visa for the second time recently (I’ll make a proper video all about it, very soon) and I decided to go to Budapest for my first ever solo trip as I heard it’s quite safe for solo female travellers. After my trip, I definitely agree with that. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so safe in any place before, especially to walk alone at night in the heart of the city.
I spend 4-5 days in Budapest and still couldn’t do everything that I wanted to. That is how much there is to do in Budapest. Anyway, I have a reason to go back now. 😁
- Did you know Budapest is made of Buda and Pest separated by the river Danube? I went on two free walking tours and learnt so much about the city and its history.
- I tried the famous Langos which is sort of like the Indian poori.
- I also tried a shot of Palinka, the strongest of all spirits if I’m not wrong.
- I learnt that the Hungarian language is the third most difficult language in the world after Mandarin and Arabic.
- I went to my first ever ruin bar, which was beautiful.
- I learnt that the Hungarians eat pretty much most of their food with sour cream and cheese.
- I went on one of the top ten beautiful rides in the world recognised by the National Geographic and to the most beautiful cafe in the world.

Another great video 👏 I'm glad that you got a break from your busy work life. I enjoyed Hungary. They have wonderful agricultural products due to very fertile soil and a respect for nature. I love Goulasch, but I'm vegetarian, mostly vegan like you, so no meat goes into mine. The cafe culture is top notch. The Hungarian language is completely opaque for many people as it does not have its roots in Indo-European languages. I couldn't understand a single sentence! Keep up your healthy lifestyle 👍

8:27 This is not the elite quarter. Fortunately, I have lived in Buda since I was born, not in Pest. There is a big difference between our elite neighborhood and the slum.
