Cheers mate! I've put many miles in hiking up these mountains looking for a red so was stoked to get a nice looking stag.. I would have been stoked with a hind tbh! Haha

Your a legend Mate! Well done - incredible kill and animal. You inspired me and I've bought a Crossbow - same as yours and will get same heads - Schwackers. I have some fallow I'm after and goats. Thanks for sharing. My rifles might get left in the gun cabinet for awhile 🤔

@@crossbow-nz I'll take u up on that on my next trip down Mate. Can I ask as I'm complete newb at this what bolts and length you use and the weight of the schwacker heads you use. I don't wanna stalk up on a animal and miss or cause unnecessary pain to it

@@aaronduffy2839 sounds good! Always keen to have a fellow crossbow hunter. I use gold tip ballistic bolts and swhackers are 125gn.. But I use Alixpress copies now. They're just as good. Just have to file the backs down so the blade opening doesn't chip the carbon on the bolt. I went through heaps of shit bolts before I learnt about decent bolts! Haha. Still learning.. Only started hunting in May
