You're doing great, Stephen! As long as the girls are fed, well rested, showered, and have entertained themselves, they will be fine. It's not easy to look after small children, especially when there's more than one of them. Even as a mother of two boys, I'm struggling to take care of them myself most of the time because my husband work 12 hours shifts, and my in-laws/parents are getting old so they are not able to help me out either. I'm always on my own, and I find that it's rewarding when I see them grow after all the hard work I have done to raise them myself. My boys are already 4 and 8, and they turn 5 and 9 in December. My second child is the most challenging. He's a picky eater and very active, so he doesn't gain much weight. Luckily, he eats macaroni mushroom and noodles, so I would cook that every day as long as he eats them. Then, I would alternate with pizza, bread, or other foods that he would eat. My eldest son isn't as picky, but he does tell me what he wants to eat, so I would either cook or order food. I swear, kids these days have a better palate at tasting food. They know if the dish contains vegetables or fruits. 😢
