MY FIRST FURRY CONVENTION || Anthrocon 2019

Honestly, never been to a convention- (Furry or otherwise) And I'm unsure if I ever will simply due to my intense anxiety :'0. Would love to eventually, but so far I've been apart of the fandom 5 or 6 years now and haven't qwp! I would definitely go in suit- (Currently have a mini partial) But I plan to make a sign prop if I ever do, that says something like "Please don't touch!" or "Ask before hugs!" Because I'll probably never be prepared for strangers to come up and touch/grab me without warning like what happens a lot unfortunately RIP

I had a blast and plan on going again next year, where they're moving to a bigger hotel due to the number of attendees that go to it since it's getting bigger every year.

You can attend panels and meets for specific topics like 101s ''How to clean your fursuit'' ''where to buy art, fursuits, etc.'' You can go to the dealers den and buy a bunch of stuff! There's definitely more stuff to do when you have a friend or family member around! And good luck when going to Anthro Ohio and any other future cons!

Nope! Furries are just people who enjoy Anthropomorphic animals, so animals with human characteristics. We don't believe we are animals. We just have custom-made costumes of our characters. Just like cosplay but with a twist! Have anymore questions?
