I’ve read several reviews where people have complained about the way the mesh is stitched into the pack back of the harness at the bottom digging into their chest. Have you noticed that after using this harness? Thanks

Thanks for the question! I wore this harness all season and hunted hard in multiple states. I also saddle hunted with it probably 50 hunts just last season in a tree. I had zero discomfort in that area. The only thing I noticed which wasn’t a big deal because I readjust myself once getting into the tree is sometimes my harness would get in the way of my bridge. But once I got readjusted it was fine. I love how quiet it is and the ability to keep it open and just access my binos whenever I need them. I also realized I used them a lot more because of the availability.

I surprisingly still like Gen 1.

Please post a review after you've actually used it in the field for a season. The FOB looks OK at first glance, but, as a compass user, I am suspicious of magnetic closures. My Alaska Guide Creations Cub has been working out fairly well so far.

I have been using it. Works great! I don’t use a compass and have heard the same concerns as you have and rightfully so. As far as a piece of kit goes it has served me very well on 4 hunts so far and it doesn’t get in the way of my bridge while I’m in my saddle which was an issue I had with the FHF chest rig gen 1. Good luck this year!
