I have been to Cairo a few times and it is chaotic, crazy and so much fun. Islamic Cairo is definitely the best parts of the city with all the main masjids there (Citadel, Sultan Hassan, Ar-Rifaii, Midan Hussain and Al-Azhar) and the main bazaar Khan-el-Khalili. Obviously the Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur and the Museum would be the main attractions though
