The three statues at 8:29 are four-arm Avalokiteshvara (a deity which symbolises compassion in Buddhism), Buddha Sakyamuni (the Buddha born in Nepal Lambini 2000+ years ago) and Padmasambhava (a Buddhist master born in 8th century). The Monkey Temple or Swayambhu is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal (founded in 5th century).

Idk why but the word " scaming " for the hard working people who make those art does not fit for me and the art are made in Nepal not china or Tibet . It called Paubha art not Thanka art ( Thanka art is Paubha art but Paubha art is not Thanka art ) . Thanka art originates from Nepal by the Newari people then later it got spreaded all over tibet . Paubha art got so much popularity in tibet that they called it Thanka . And the people here in Nepal might sell these art by saying Thanka art because for the foreigners as well these paintings are known as thanka not Paubha . And those artists who are taking you to the art school is to show our culture and dedication for the art and the hardwork / time it take to complete 1 art , to show that is its made in Nepal itself ... it's also sale tactic aswell .

That's how you do it mate. get some local blokes to take you around places in Kathmandu because ktm might seem small to outsiders but it ain't so.. there is so much to explore. We are sorry that scam things happen with u guys, those are some Indian who keep scamming or try to sale stuff and disturb the tourist, we did already report about this as it’s happening frequently this days to the local govt, I hope they come with proper solution as it does affect our country heritage, we do apologise for it in general Nepal people love there guest as we believe (athithi deva bhawa) which means Guest is our God❤ have fun guys enjoy the beauty of our country 🇳🇵
@scamexpose123 Жыл бұрын
Why have you sent all your slts to India they are spoiling the environment here. This has been a cancer to our society for the last 75 years and is breaching our limits now. We believe in atithi devo bhava so as nepalis were suffering from back to back civil wars we let them in but its time up now. We have reported this to all our local governments and hope something will be done soon.

Welcome to Nepal Brother. But what you explain from 3:29 to 6:10 is the mind make up made by video of Karl is totally wrong. Three thing what you explain is totally wrong, Art what you see are all real and they are made in art school over here that thing takes time and perfection to make, If two of you only travel for a day in hire vehicle it will take money, Smoke they are asking to buy is real, but they may charge more but they are not under cover police. Even police see you smoking they will not mind it because you are a tourist. Don't go after the controversial issue raise by the Karl, he came to Nepal for creating a bad content, not for travel. So don't get after him enjoy Nepal and hospitality and friendliness of Nepali people. Hope in the end of your visit on Nepal you mindset will be completely changed.
