My old gym had a functional trainer with pull up handles like that and I remember liking the feel of them. But everyone's built differnent and has their own preferences.@@GarageGymLifeMedia

Oh they feel fine but with the handles angled to put the pinky slightly higher than the thumb, you get a better prestretch on your lats. It’s an old Vince Gironda and Larry Scott thing.

That’s true. My main focus with a budget rack is that it be safe to use because I have seen budget racks bend under pressure.

Hey Tevonnon, it will be out no later than the first week of December! That will give me the same amount of time with each bench to make a fair comparison. I know that people are hoping to buy a lot of their home gym equipment on Black Friday, but I can tell you that I don't think you'll save a ton of money. The brands often mark up their prices ahead of Black Friday so they can discount them slightly and make people think they're saving a lot of money. You will still get the same savings as long as you order before Christmas!

Some of those plates are $3 per lb. Who in their right mind would spend $3 per lb. for Major Lutie plates. You can get Rogue, REP etc. for those prices or less

To be fair, every company you named makes equipment overseas where quality control can be sketchy. I have a lot of concerns about their products that I will address in my review video.

It does not have 17 holes for adjusting. Go count them, I know how many it has, not 17. You just read off a sheet like the rest of them. I gave you more credit than that but oh well. I haven't watched your video yet but next you are probably gonna say the spotter arms are good, we both they are not long enough to save anybody. What if a kid believes everyone and he tried a squat 1RM and failed, Oh crap he could get hurt bad.

Why did you choose this Raptor F22 Rack and not the PLM03?... Greetings👍🍀✨️

The Raptor is newer and as you can see in the video the pulleys load independently on each side whereas the PLM03 has a single plate stack in the center so the weight is the same for both sides. The Raptor just offers more variety and you can load two different exercises at once to superset with the Raptor without changing the plates during the set. Thanks for your question!

Ah! Sorry about that! I’m trying to fix an issue with the sound not being in stereo. One of the items on my wish list is a better mic for reviews that blocks out background noise so I don’t have to do everything in the editing process. That would fix most of my sound issues. I am seriously considering buying a power cage. I’m indecisive between this one and the Mikolo. I love the safety bars for squats and bench in case I don’t have a spotter.

Those are not flip down safeties, they are sporter arms, flip down safeties are the long safeties in a POWER RACK. It's also 14 gauge steel, what Sorry man, I'm just so tired of seeing people embelish and not tell the truth about Major Lutie racks just to have them sent free to these people

I realize that I told you that if you decide to buy it it’s discounted right now. But at the end the day I said, I can’t tell you to buy something that I have only had for a couple of days. I will tell you what I think of this after I have had it for a while.

I almost bought it then realized the post are 2" x 2.75", meaning you won't be able to add any other attachments most likely because they are for 2x2 or 3x3

That's one of the things that I didn't like about it. Granted you can always get a custom shop like Black Widow to make attachments for you but it's always easier to go 3x3 in my opinion.

How smooth are the cable / pulleys? I'm debating on whether or not to get a functional trainer with weight stacks (pricey) or save money with a plate loaded one. I have a power rack already and would be using this primarily for the cable movements. thanks for the review!

There’s a little bit of drag when the weight gets heavy especially if it’s not evenly loaded on the horns. So I noticed some drag when I had 10 pound plates on the inside horns and 25s on the outside ones for example. I don’t know if you already have a dumbbell rack but you might want to look into the Williams strength functional trainer dumbbell rack. I know it sounds strange but I checked it out on Instagram and it looks really good as far as saving space, but also giving you access to a quality functional trainer.

190 Tensile strength has a Capacity of 1200-1500 lbs. Your diagram said 750 lb. Capacity, Can't be both, which is it. You said it's 30 mm diameter of the shaft but the diagram shows 28 mm. Again, Cant be both You dropped the ball on this video and usually I half way trusted what you say. Which is far better than how I feel about 98% of reviewers.

Well, Bobby, as I told you guys at the end of the video this was me just opening up the box and telling you what they said this product is and what it supposed to do. I reached out to them and asked them about the differences between the website and the product and they told me the numbers that I told you. I thought about not including the diagram, but that’s what’s on their website. To be honest with you I’m not 100% happy with the discrepancies, but I decided to save all of that for my actual review not for this first impressions video. Like I said, I never told anybody to buy this all I said was this is the thing this is what it supposed to do and I’ll tell you what I think of it after I’ve used it for a while. There’s no way that I could in good conscience recommend anything to anyone that I have had in my possession for less than a week.

Major Lutie is becoming the biggest joke in the home gym industry. They are sending free racks to anybody that has a camera and will say " I recommend this rack". You're not in that category but that is what they are doing. The guy I trust most won't do Major Lutie reviews because of the contract he had to agree to before he even saw the rack. Knowing what I know about the industry why in the world would I ever trust another reviewer. The answer is I don't and won't trust anybody but him and maybe one more. I get the game and it is a game. Coop did what he had to do to get to where he is but now he can actually tell the truth after everything he has amassed. Companies are NOW standing in line to send him free stuff after all those years he did what he had to do to get where he is. 99% of people are like him.
