Indian weeding gifts are crazy the bride family gives everything from household items ,cars , expensive jwellery sometimes even a house to the newly wedding couple. And the guests as well gives expensive gifts and they always display all the wedding gifts infront of the guests so they can see

Indian weddings are different. There is a time slot and you can visit anytime between that. If the wedding starts at 7, people will start coming at 8 and can come until 10- 11 and they come specifically for food. Actual wedding festivities will start very late at night and continue till next morning and they are mostly attended by family only. This is the case of most Hindu weddings. Guests other than close family mostly cone just to eat and give gift and blessing. What he did with money is how you give blessings to the person. It was funny to see you getting worried about wedding.

You've been treated really respectfully like a family in the wedding. Babloo is a nice guy. Actually you're disappointed because you were expecting Vedic marriage or say hindu marriage. Even in India muslim wedding is contract marriage the Indian way. But the actual part is the contract i.e. I do / I do and that's it. But food is Indian islamic way. Indian islamic ways are original in itself. Wedding gifts are real things here in India. Not just a car even apartment is gifted gold jewellery and everything that's needed to start an independent life by the couple is gifted if possible. Actually among hindus stree dham (woman property) has always been very very important and that is not inherited by the husband. Husband can get only if the wife transfers it as gift. Woman's children and parents inherit her property. And everything that is gifted during wedding is woman's property. Husband gets the wife. Some how Muslims also follow this tradition because they are converted from within us. This is why Indian Muslims are different from the rest of the world. 🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵 Reply me if you want to attend vedic marriage. I'm planning my daughter's marriage in two years. Proper Vedic marriage. Vedic culture is the strongest culture.
