Props to you for taking the step to fish a major tournament. I've been talking about tournament fishing all my life and just haven't taken the step to do it, for whatever reason. I always seem to come up with an excuse why I can't do it, so I have the most respect for those that do it and are willing to put themselves out there. Moreover, you did it and you filmed it, which is always a risky proposition of time. Time so good on you for taking the step and congrats on going out there and putting on a good show. Well done.

Thanks buddy I appreciate it. The filming part of all of this was fairly easy to an extent. I was hoping to get more footage to overlay for the intro and the outtro, but that's where time management became more crucial. Recording for the tournament is easy, we had so much time to kill before takeoff anyway and it only takes me about 5 minutes to get everything up and running. Once they're running, they just run all day until I shut them off, or the battery pack dies on me, so that part is never a concern. If you really want to give a tournament a shot then you should! The one day BFL events on Champlain are relatively cheap as a co-angler, you just need to sign up with a boater to make absolutely sure you get in on them. Great opportunity to learn. Or if you just want to do it yourself as a boater there's tons of options out there for local clubs, bigger trails that always have opens so you don't have to pay club dues, etc.

It's all good, we both made that one error but I shouldn't have pushed it as late as I did, but it kiiiind of paid off where we both upgraded pretty good right at the very end of the day. Just unfortunate that we ran into so many other things I didn't take into consideration for the run back.
