Great video! I know this is not how you wanted your first tournament to go. But this result will push you further than a successful tournament would have. You told a story years back on GG, how you were on a bike and tried going up the hill without stopping and failed the first time. But instead of giving up you tried again and again and spent hours until you finally did it! This tournament is the same as the first time you tried biking up that hill, it’s just the beginning to your success!!

Austin was too wrapped up in Micah, trying to be positive... he said "smoke it" right before Micah swings. You NEVER introduce clutter before a swing. STUPID. Positive re-enforcement has it's place. In all honesty I was just kidding. Tig shot an 83 the same way most pros do. It's not like me making 9 bogies and a double. I am sure Tig will eliminate this over time as he does have a great swing and really a super putting stroke.

As a golfer I enjoyed watching you play this round. You did very well considering it’s your first PGA sanctioned tournament. I’ve watched you the past year. From what I see in your game. The main thing you need to improve on is from 100 yards in. Learn more about pitching and chipping. I know your second round was a great improvement because I saw your score. Tighten up your accuracy on your drives. Maybe put the 2 iron away and trust your driver more. Overall great Job!

@@moderndaygrinch I realize he didn’t go the traditional route through junior golf then college golf and that would definitely help but in this outing he had a very good caddie to help with course management and green reading and Micah still was nowhere close to making the cut. Sure his short game is absolutely nowhere near where it should be but there is no part of his game that would be considered good. He hits it far and that’s literally his only strength. I live in an area with about 300k people and he wouldn’t even finish in the top 20 if he played in our local area amateur championship. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this. For all the casual golf fans or those that don't watch at all. This isn't a PGA Tour event. It was a PGA Canada event. PGA Canada is basically a minor, minor league below the Korn Ferry Tour and way below the real PGA Tour. He's lying to all of you. Again, this was NOT a PGA Tour event. Not even close.

I know this is late, but from what I noticed, when you played with good good, you were confident as hell and you were out there having fun. I think that’s the mind set you need to find. Go out there and show everyone what you’re made of, stop trying to be a pro pga tour golfer. I watched a documentary on tiger woods and he stated “I just went out there and showed them what I could do. I swung as hard as I could because I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.” Get that mentality and you’ll be unstoppable as a pga pro. Keep up the good work and show off out there, your a beast tig.

Tig, I take my hat off to you for reaching for your dreams. You have the gift of speed which nowadays is essential for success in tournament golf at the highest level. You need to focus on your short game more, flops, spinny chips but especially putting! That’s where the game is won or lost. Maybe Wesley Bryan will take you under his short game wing. Hey brother hardest thing to do is even take the plunge and you did that and then some. That front 9 for your first ever pro event was incredible. Not many could say their first start started like that. You’ll learn and grow from it and like you said even when it wasn’t good you ever got out of rhythm or routine! He has no consistency in his game at all and simply can't score. Imagine what he'd shoot if he played really tough courses. It would be mid to high 80's easily.
