Great work. I liked your explaination of keyway. The dam still looked spongy but you know the soil type and what works in your area. Are you going to add overflow or just a spillway to keep the pond level.

Thank you! Dam is still a bit spongy, but it's a good clay and its wet area. This dam will settle down. I'm adding spillway pipe to keep pond level. Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!
