How is the build quality on yours? Got two of these with fred issues, sharp edges. And some marks on the wood finish.

I think the build quality is fine on this one. The only thing is that the push/pull switch gets loosen very easily but other than that, I think about the same I mentioned on the video about my thought 1 year later.

Exciting stuff 😊 being a 7 string guitar, do your fingers need to change position slightly for chords compared to a 6 stringer or are they pretty much the same? 🙂 Looking forward to hearing upcoming material on this new bad boy 😄

Thank you! It depends on a tuning that I use. For example, in this video I tuned the guitar in way that I just basically play the same chords than with 6 string but just add 2 more strings to make the chords sound even bigger. So yeah, pretty much the same. Then with standard 7 string tuning it'll be a lot different to play larger chords but the approach for riff writing would be different too.

I think the axe is still great! Haven't really played it a lot in a while because I needed to use more 6 string guitars and alternative tunings. I'm probably going to record & write more once I moved to Finland

Great video! Thanks for showing the guitar and some tones Quick question, you mentioned this is not your first 7 string guitar, how does the neck compares to the others you played before?

Thank you! Yes, That’s correct. I have Ibanez Universe and RG827. Those two guitars are having 25.5” and this PRS has 26.5”. With a bit longer scale lenght feels a bit different to play but I feel that it’s a lot better solution when tuning to lower tunings. Besides the current tension, the neck feels super comfortable to play.
