My first REAL scope - Telequipment D61a 1974 oscilloscope

Bought in 1977 for learning electronics, my D61a works still well even if I work now with a DSO . I had to replace the probes and make regular recalibration. It is still fun to wok with CRT, big rotary buttons...

I completely agree. It's still satisfying to work with it, even though I got really lazy and use my DSO for almost everything now 😂

nice one, I'm also planning to get an analog for XY + sound spectrograms as son as possible, and in the meanwhile I have the dso150

The D61A is a dual 10Mhz (= rise time 35ns) analog scope which is good to inspect signals audio and up to HF (because it's an analog scope, you can use it above its bandwidth without Shannon problems but with an attenuation) it work also with not too fast logic signals because of its rise time. For sure, a DSO with math and analysis functions can do more but without the fun of a vintage analog scope and except for Lissajous and Z-mod !
