I was nervous going out at first. But now I carry my business cards and when people approach or ask, I let them know I am an artist and make these babies for a variety of reasons. Loved the outing!

I took mine out for a car trip for the first time ever! I have a Liam toddler with brown hair and brown eyes and we went to Dunkin Donuts drive thru . He had his little sunglasses on and the lady thought he was a real kid 😂. It was fun hahaha.

Misty, you did so good girl! Don’t worry about it! I’ve gone out several times with my baby and to my horror (at first) everyone wants to see such a tiny baby. I just bite the bullet and let them see. Most ppl have no clue he’s a doll 🤔It always surprises me bc he’s only my second ever doll and all I see are the imperfections. Anyway, I have to literally convince a lot of ppl that he’s a reborn. I have to take his paci out to show them it’s magnetic and show his cloth body. Other people know almost immediately and want to hold him. They’re our tribe’s ppl who are into or at least heard of reborns, lol. Anyway, you did awesome and I am proud of you! As for the obsessions…pacis and bottles still rule my top spot. Then anything vintage baby from this incredible 60’s “carseat😉” (how that could’ve ever passed for safety…I mean 🤦🏻‍♀️) that my husband his brothers used to vintage bedding, toys and clothes are a close #2. Anything else baby take the rest of my list 😂 We don’t have a Target close by but our nearest Walmart looks and sounds like that Target and seriously gives me full on anxiety 😳 I’d rather walk around with tp stuck to my show and my shirt inside out before setting foot on there. But…occasionally I must. Gotta do a video in there soon and send you. It’ll come with a warning ⚠️ to take your meds first 😂 Seriously, though, you did great despite beaning that lady with pampers 😉😉😉😉❤️

When I was first in the hobby I went crazy for pacifiers and bottles. I was never into diapers that much but my reborns in my collection all have cloth diapers now. I love the baby clothes a target but boy are they expensive now! Even Walmart is expensive now. I get some things at TJ Max for decent prices.

I was sooo nervous the first time, I didnt record anything and i just used a car seat in the store cart and it barely fit cause the cart was unusually small. I was so scared the car seat would fall off, OMG i would have been devastated!!! I didnt want to even make eye contact with people, just walked around aimlessly!?!?! It was all positive reactions though, several people smiled at the baby but we said nothing and a woman rushed to hold the door for me!!!!!! All in all I would do it again!!!!

I did the same thing with my very first outing years ago, I just put the car seat in the main part of the cart, but it kept rocking all around and making noise and that was nerve-racking! lol 😂 what I have noticed is when you take a baby out in public, especially if it’s a newborn people are nicer to you! I noticed that people hold doors open for you, will even ask you if you want to cut in line and when I was crossing the parking lot all the cars around me stopped!!! It was like getting a free pass everywhere I went! So funny!
