Solid, steady and consistent climbing man. Always a pleasure to watch and I take a lot away too. I’m not a huge fan of spar work so want to take as much from watching by others to get better
@ReallyTallTreeGuy Жыл бұрын
Well I appreciate it. Honestly I don't mind Spar work after the top is already out. After that no matter what I'm doing it just feels way easier. Be that just bombing logs, sending chunks like in this one, or firewooding the whole tree.
@danmcburney3247 Жыл бұрын
Very nice steady, consistent climbing and working !!! No wasted steps or movements, that makes for a very quick take down. Great job an a pleasure to watch !!! Thank you for taking the time an extra work to take us along !!!!

I always take the heavier top lead with stabilizing branches left on the tree too. It’s like a tightrope Walker with a balance pole. It doesn’t shake as much. And I too use sticks to reach ropes I set. That was a nice, clean , efficient take down you did there. I love how you don’t over do it with the gear.
@ReallyTallTreeGuy Жыл бұрын
Thanks, that top that I lowered was the main thing I had to lower. As I showed. The other limb that was rigged out I really just needed it to not get stuck up in the other trees and then like I said I could just drop it. Glad you enjoyed the video

i got a good laugh when you cut the one branch and put too much umph with your bar and the branch hit the fence im guessing? your body language said it all, "like seriously that just had to happen". Anyways thanks for sharing.

If you arent afraid of not double tied while cutting, dont be afraid of reaching for the rope via the Silky saw. carefuly. Good climb, very windy.

Thanks. And I usually do, just that it was a hair too far to reach with the silky.
